Africatown is a project of the Africatown Heritage Preservation Foundation (AHPF) focused on the cultural and economic enhancement of the Africatown legacy and community. Our services to Africatown include cultural awareness, education, media related services, including publications related to the history and legacy of the Clotilda ship that brought enslaved Africans to the Mobile Bay who subsequently led the formation of what is now called  Africatown, African Town or Africa Town.

AHPF does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability in its program or activities.
